Destination Covered : Delhi - Leh - Uleytokpo - Lamayuru - Nubra - Delhi
Day 01 : Delhi / Leh (Flight)
Early morning transfer to domestic airport in time to board flight for Leh (3500 M). Leh is situated on the banks of the river Indus. After arrival Swagat Tours Representatives will greet and assist you transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free to acclimatize to high altitude and low oxygen levels in Leh. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 02 : Leh
Morning after hearty breakfast leaves for half day tour of Shanti Stupa, Leh palace, Leh Gompa, and bazaar. After lunch pleasure trip to Spituk, Phyang and Shankar Gompas. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 03 : Leh
After hearty breakfast leave for pleasure trip to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Gompas. Come back to the hotel late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 04 : Leh - Uleytokpo (66 kms / 2 hrs approx)
After hearty breakfast leave for Uleytokpo enroute visit Basgo Castle and Likir gompa. After lunch visit Alchi Gompa. Alchi Gompa is situated on the bank of the river Indus. It is founded by Ringchen Zangpo, the great translator. Alchi Gompa displays a Kashmiri influence in its art and architecture. It contains many beautiful images of Buddha. Evening is free and for other leisure activities. Dinner and overnight at Uley deluxe camp.
Day 05 : Uleytokpo - Lamayuru - Uleytokpo (124 kms / return trip)
After hearty breakfast leave for Lamayuru with box lunch. Visit Lamayuru gompa. It is located on a high rocky outcrop. The monastery has many Thangka paintings on its wall. Return to Uleytokpo enroute visiting Resong monastery. Dinner and overnight in Uley camp.
Day 06 : Uleytokpo - Leh
After hearty breakfast return drive to Leh. After arrival at Leh Swagat Tours representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Lunch at hotel. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 07 : Leh
Full day free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 : Leh - Nubra (124 / 7 hrs approx)
After early breakfast leave for Nubra valley with pack / picnic luncheon, crossing the world's highest motorable road - the Khardungla pass ( 5570 m). Evening visit the famous Samasthanling gompa at sumur. Dinner and overnight in camp.
Day 09 : Nubra
After hearty breakfast leave for excursion to Tegar, Hunder and Diskit monasteries with picnic / pack lunch. Come back to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10 : Nubra - Leh
After hearty breakfast leave for Leh with picnic / pack lunch. On arrival Swagat Tours Representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11 : Leh
After hearty breakfast a half day visit to Stok palace and SOS Tibetan Refujee camp at Choglamsar. Come back to hotel for lunch. Afternoon free at leisure. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 12 : Leh / Delhi (Flight)
Early morning Swagat Tours Representatives will assist you to transfer to the airport in time to board flight for Delhi.
