Located at a distance of 24 km from Haridwar, Rishikesh makes a wonderful entry point to the four major Hindu pilgrimage centres - Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. It is also known as 'Yoga Capital of the World' and has a number of yoga and meditation centers to boast of. It has also been increasingly attracting the attention of adventure tourists from all over the world due to the exciting opportunities of trekking and white water rafting. You will visit various Ashrams, temples and yoga and meditation centers during the day and you can even talk to the holy saints who could enlighten you about the subtle points of Hindu philosophy. In the evening, witness the evening aarti at Triveni Ghat (bank) of River Ganges and meet the legendary saint Sri Godavari Giri Ji Maharaj.
Day 1 : Rishikesh
After arrival at Rishikesh, Swagat Tours Representatives will greet and assist you to transfer to the camp. Lunch at the Camp. Camp orientation.
Raft trip from camp to Rishikesh on River Ganges. 'Golf Course' and 'Roller Coaster' moves are the key features including wooded hills and gorgeous scenery with multitude of terrestrial and avian fauna.
Drive back to camp. In the evening, indulge in beach games followed by campfire and dinner. Overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 2 : Rishikesh
After hearty breakfast, Swagat Tours Representatives will assist you for departure to onward/home destination. Optional rafting and lunch at camp.
